    I was worried about draws. It was such a draw heavy board and usually in these situations I panic and become a bit of a calling station. Which I did in this hand, I didn't want to raise and then have to fold to a 3bet.

    I also thought if I just called I could prob get value if he misses his draws and keeps firing. This is probably really bad logic, please correct me.

    What you did here was put off a decision on the flop and created for yourself a more difficult decision on the river (which still isn't really that difficult - easy fold). You know that he donks - often, so you still want to bet for value otf. With top 2 and fd then I'd make it like $0.43...if he 3bets then your decisions just got easy.
